As the exclusive security provider to the U.S. Marshals, ADT is responsible for supplying, installing, servicing and maintaining integrated security systems in all federal courthouses nationwide. As part of the latest ADT government contract, ADT is providing access control and closed circuit television systems (CCTV) in all new and existing federal courthouses, which currently number more than 700. As America's oldest federal law enforcement agency, the U.S. Marshals and their Deputies provide protective services to federal judges and U.S. courthouses and are also charged with safely transporting federal prisoners and managing assets seized from criminals. ADT has equipped each federal courthouse with a complex, highly integrated security system that connects with the U.S. Attorney's Office, General Service Administration and Federal Protective Services, providing all around government communication and operations efficiency. Besides the courtroom and court house itself, ADT also provides security in the judges' chambers. ADT's nationwide operations, which include 220 offices across the United States, provide the required infrastructure and capabilities to handle a contract of this complexity, size, and scope. |
