Answers to common questions
Can I bring my ADT security system with me to my new home?
If you set up your ADT Base or Hub yourself, you may be able to pack up your existing devices and take them with you to your new home. However, if your system was professionally installed, you won’t be able to bring it with you. Either way, we recommend calling us at least 30 days before you move to discuss which ADT products and services are right for your new home.
How many days in advance should I call to alert ADT that I am moving?
You should call ADT as soon as you are thinking about moving to explore all of the options available to you. At a minimum, you should call at least 30 days prior to your anticipated moving date.
