Listen up, Queen, you deserve a spa day. It’s okay to spend some time on yourself. This year has been chock-full of stressors, so we think routine spa days are a must. Today we’re going to focus on a fall themed spa day, because let’s face it, fall is everyone’s favorite season.
What makes fall so great? The chill, crisp air, the warm colors of the changing foliage, the excitement of the impending holidays coming up, and most importantly, the scents and coziness of the season. Seasonal aromas such as rosemary and thyme hit their peak this time of year, and let’s not forget about the infamous pumpkin spice *drools*.
You’re free to spend your spa day however you’d like, but here’s what we suggest:
Step 1: Set the mood in your bathroom by running a warm bath and lighting some candles (read up on fire safety here.)
Step 2: Heat up some water with essential oils of your choosing for a pore-opening facial steam.
Step 3: Drop your bath bomb into the tub and let it fizz up with some of your fav bath salts. Want to DIY it? Learn how to make your own bath bombs!
Step 4: Apply your face mask and hop in the tub (wine in hand optional.)
Step 5: After you’re done soaking, remove your face mask and finish off your skincare by rolling your face with a cooled jade roller.
Step 6: Relax in bed with a good book and have your favorite essential oil diffusing in the background.
