There may not be any holiday parties to attend this year, but we could use an impressive holiday dessert more than ever! We’ve had months to perfect our sourdough, try out new recipes, and indulge in comfort food. Now, it’s holiday time and we get to put all of these new skills together. First up is a classic that you never thought needed an upgrade: brownies.
Bianca’s peppermint bark brownies have all the goodness of your usual brownies – they’re chocolatey, fudgy, and just the right amount of chewy. The simple addition of the peppermint crunch turns your usual brownies into a special Christmas treat that your family will treasure seasons to come.
Whether you serve these to your family, deliver to neighbors’ doors, leave them out for Santa, or eat the whole pan yourself (no one here is judging), these peppermint bark brownies are best served with a mug of hot chocolate or a large glass of milk.
No matter how you enjoy Bianca’s peppermint bark brownies, we hope you and yours are enjoying them Safe at Home.
What else do you like to add to your brownies? Marshmallows, chocolate chips, sprinkles? However, you dress up this classic dessert for your holiday table, we’d like to see your masterpiece. Share your recipe in our Safe at Home Facebook group!
