This year has brought about a plethora of new hobbies, from breadmaking to puzzle solving. Perhaps the hobby that has benefitted our homes the most, however, is gardening. More time spent at home has meant having more time and attention to spend on plants. Researching their light and water preferences alone could take up an entire day. From spring to summer, we’ve slowly added to our jungle. Herbs, ferns, decorative trees, succulents. There are so many diverse plants out there!
Now that it’s autumn and overnight temperatures are beginning to plummet, it’s time for our luscious garden to make the trek back inside. Below, we’ve outlined some basic tips for the new plant owner (or a list of reminders for seasoned plant parents).
Each tip is a starting point. To truly keep your plant safe and happy in your home, look for more information on the exact species and its needs. If you ever find yourself away from your plants for too long, you can check in on them using your HD indoor cameras. We’re here to help you protect everything you love, including these little green plant babies.
We hope that your garden continues to thrive throughout the winter, bringing plenty of green life into your home!
