These days, comfort food is always welcome. Our attention to the little things has become more focused: community, both physical and virtual, has become a vital tool in everyday life. While we are constantly looking for ways to make you feel safe inside and outside of your home, there is one big way you can do that for yourself: cookies.
We’ve always felt that oatmeal raisin cookies were undervalued. In the past, you may have overlooked them for a chocolate chip, or a frosted sugar cookie, or the much sought-after rocky road (we love other cookies too!). But all these years, oatmeal raisin cookies have remained a part of the cookie lineup. You've got to try this oatmeal raisin cookie recipe today.
They have fruit, yes. And rolled oats. But the simple sweetness of each cinnamon-sugary bite will bring you right back to your grandmother’s kitchen. Warm oatmeal raisin cookies paired with a glass of milk will make you and your loved ones feel like they just received a big hug. You may as well grab a blanket and your fuzzy slippers while you eat them, too, just to complete the picture.
These oatmeal raisin cookies are soft and sweet, and super easy to make. Hop in the kitchen and make the whole house smell like home. If you have the time, make a few batches so you can spread that love!
